Sandy Bay Freight Brokers & Consultants Inc. was established in early 2012 by founder Mitchell Laufman as a full service freight broker and transportation management consultant. We know how important it is to you that we understand your transportation requirements and that every effort is made to ensure your shipments are delivered on time and without incident. We take the time to gain a complete understanding of the overall needs of your business and will treat your customers as though they were our own.

Founder Mitchell Laufman has gained expertise in a broad range of disciplines within the logistics business and it was a natural progression to eventually build a company where he could capitalize on the opportunities in the transportation industry.

About The Founder

Early in his career, Mr. Laufman worked in shipping and receiving gaining hands-on experience with his responsiblities preparing and loading shipments on trailers where he learned the importance of completing the loading process within a narrow timeframe with the correct goods.

Mitchell later acquired his truck driver's license and worked frequent runs between California and Ontario. As a driver he became intimate with the challenges involved in picking up freight and delivering it to the destination in the specified timeframe and ensuring its safe arrival.

Rounding out his career in the industry, Mr. Laufman worked as a freight broker where he applied his knowledge and experience gained in his early years.

Mitchell has become a natural leader applying his years of task-specific knowledge and dedication to timely delivery and professional customer service while protecting the value of the goods being shipped.
